Lead Engineer Adhesive Technology Projects

Your Responsibilites
- Independently design, implement and automate a scalable adhesive/bonding process for polymer optical components and integrate it into a process chain
- Independently develop and implement dosing concepts for processing optical adhesives and auxiliary materials in collaboration with external cooperation partners
- Perform DOE for process stability
- Be responsible for process support during the implementation phase at a international mass manufacturing partner
- Lead cross functional and cross company project teams to execute and deliver technical solutions in customer projects
- Initiate corrective measures in case of deviations from plans during the project
- Prepare, document and present project status reports and decision proposals for various audiences
- Integrate and steer customers, external development partners and service providers

Our Requirements
- A very good degree in engineering or science, preferably in optics or optical technology
- Several years of experience in development, ideally also in the field of visual correction
- Strong interest in optics & new process development
- An analytical, structured way of working
- A high will to solve problems and a strong focus on results
- A very good technical understanding, creativity and a high degree of initiative
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Skills in Chinese are a plus
